Privacy Policy

This policy summarizes how Business Desk handles account, business, customer communication, and billing information.

Information We Process

We process account details, business profile settings, team access records, conversations, leads, knowledge base content, usage records, and billing identifiers needed to operate the service.

Service Providers

The platform uses third-party service providers for hosting, authentication, payments, messaging, voice calls, AI responses, storage, and deployment. These providers process data needed to operate the service.

Mobile Messaging Privacy

White and Decker Business Desk does not sell or share customers' personal information. Mobile information, including phone numbers, SMS consent records, and SMS opt-out records, is used to operate requested messaging services. Mobile information is not shared, sold, rented, or transferred to third parties, affiliates, or lead generators for marketing or promotional purposes. SMS message frequency varies, up to 4 messages per month for the White and Decker Business Desk SMS program, and message and data rates may apply.

SMS Choices

Recipients can text JOIN to request SMS updates, reply YES to confirm, reply HELP or INFO for help, and reply STOP, STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, QUIT, REVOKE, or OPTOUT to opt out. After opt-out, the platform suppresses further SMS messages to that recipient unless they later opt back in and confirm.

Customer Data

Customer conversation data belongs to the business account that collected it. Access is restricted by organization membership and owner-level administrative controls.

Retention

Operational data is retained while needed to provide the service, support customers, meet legal obligations, and maintain audit records. Admin audit log retention is configurable by owners.
